Nettie Pracht

GOWANDA – Nettie Pracht, age 85, of Gowanda passed away surrounded by family Friday evening August 30, 2019 at Highpointe on Michigan in Buffalo, NY.Born in Stringer, Miss. April 16, 1934 the daughter of Walter Sr. and Lily (Royals) McAlpine- Seleska.Nettie retired from NYS , she held various state positions with the former JNAdam Developmental Center and Collins Correctional Facility. She was a member of the Gowanda United Methodist Church , she en-joyed bowling golfing , travel , gardening and she loved to sew .Mother of Alan Pracht and Daryl Pracht both of Gowanda . Grandmother of Carin (Andrew) Carriero of Hamburg and Cayleigh Pracht of Buffalo.Besides her parents Nettie was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Martha Ruffin, Mary King and Lillian Davis . Nettie was also preceded in death by a brother Walter “Sonny” McAlpine Jr.
