Larry C. Ormsby

He was born April 24, 1938 in Kennedy, the son of Lawrence and Julia Lawson Ormsby.

Larry was a US navy veteran serving from 1957 to 1963.

He was a member of the Westfield Moose and the Chautauqua Cruisers Club.

Before retiring in 1999 he had been employed at Kraft Foods for thirty years.

Larry is survived by four children: Kelly Ransom, Cindy (Jim Kingsley) Wilson, and Wendy (Greg) Irish of Brocton, and Terry (Julie Brosious) Ormsby of Ripley, fourteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Callahan Jr., a brother Richard Ormsby, a sister, Ruth Ann Karalus, and a son-in-law Robert Ransom.

Services will be private.

No visitation will be observed.

The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg is handling arrangements.
