Lois L. Franz

Lois L. Franz, 92, and 67 resident of Cassadaga, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at Brooks Memorial Hospital.Born Feb. 16, 1927 in North East, PA a daughter of the late Gerald F. and Elizabeth Boblentz Loveless. She was a 1945 graduate of Westfield Academy.Lois was a fulltimehomemaker who was a fabulous cook and baker and also enjoyed gardening and crafts.She was a member of the Cassadaga Lakes Garden Club, Home Bureau “Stitch and Chatter”, Cassadaga Library Assn., Card Club Girls and Red Hats (Cassadaga Classic Chicks).Wife of 70 years to the late Donald E. Franz, who she married May 10, 1947 and died Nov. 20, 1917; mother of, Linda (Rick) Roos of Cassadaga, Kristi Sellig of Eden and Steven Franz of Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab; grandmother of, Tara (Frank) Gugino of Cassadaga, Ryan (Erika) Roos of Maumee, OH, Erin (Rob) Booker of Lancaster, Breanna (Nick) Blasz and Katelin (Jason) Haselden all of Eden; great- grandmother of Eight and One great great-granddaughter; sister of the late Louis G. Loveless.
