Mark P. Regan “Moagie”

GOWANDA: Mark P. Regan age 66 of Maple Ave. passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday December 21, 2019.

Born January 27, 1953 in Olean, NY the son of John F. and Virginia M. (Madden) Regan.

Mark was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Gowanda he graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic School, while at St. Joseph’s, Mark was a part of the Schools 1967 undefeated basketball team that went on to win the Buffalo Diocese Championship, he graduated from the former Cardinal Mindszenty High School Class of ’71. Mark received his Applied Science degree in Liberal Arts from Jamestown Community College, Class of ’73. Mark was employed with Baker Victory Services in Lackawanna, he retired in November of this year after 46 years of service. A life long sports fan Moagie especially liked the San Francisco Giants Baseball team.

Survivors include 2 sisters and 4 brothers; Mary Regan of Gowanda, Dennis (Suzanne) Regan of Pittsford, NY, Kevin (Carol) Regan of Gowanda, Timothy Regan of Gowanda, Justin (Val) Regan of Thornton, Co. and Eileen (Joseph) Dibble of King George, Va. Nieces and nephews; Justin (Kelly) Regan, Kelly (Al) Firlit, Anne (Charles) Fox, Kathleen (Steve) Jones, Brian (Leanne) Regan, Michelle (Dan) Piccoli, Tristan Regan, Ian Regan, Thomas (Katie) Dibble and Molly (Walker) Schutze.

Mark is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his Mother Virginia (August 16, 2001) and his father John (November 8, 2013).

Friends may call Friday December 27 th from 3:00- 7:00pm at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated

Saturday December 28, 2019 @ 11:00 am from the St. Joseph’s RC Church , East Main St. Gowanda (please assemble at church). Interment to fol-low in the Holy Cross Cemetery Gowanda .
