Adolph C. Namlik Jr.

GOWANDA — Adolph C. Namlik Jr. age 65 of Rte. 353 passed away Wednesday February 5, 2020 at the Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.

Born January 30, 1955 in Wheeling, West Virginia the son of Adolph Sr. And Mary (Szerszen) Namlik.

Adolph was the former Chief of Police for both the Gowanda Police Dept and the Cattaraugus Police Dept., prior to his N.Y. employment he served as a Fraud Investigator for the West Virginia Dept of Social Services.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Adriane (Menno) Miller of Perrysburg, Jennifer (Stacy Maybee) of Gowanda, grandchildren ; Arron Namlik, Christopher, Kody and Rebekah Cook, Tristen Namlik, Adylinn Maybee and Samuel Miller. Adolph is also survived by a brother Richard (Michele) Namlik of Neffs, OH. along with nephews Phillip and Joshua Namlik of West Virginia .

A Memorial luncheon will take place Saturday February 15, 2020 at 1 p.m. from the Slovenian Club 36 Palmer St. Gowanda , NY
