Arlene E. Stockweather

CHERRY CREEK: Arlene E. Stockweather, 94, 1936 Ruttenbur Road, Cherry Creek, died Friday, January 24th, 2020 peacefully, at her son’s residence in Orlando, FL. She was born in North Otto, NY on November 11, 1925, the daughter of the late Marion and Merna (Smith) Rose.

Mrs. Stockweather was a graduate of the former Cherry Creek High School, Class of 1942 and a Graduate of Bryant & Stratton College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She worked as a accountant for the former Canada Glue in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, for 10 years and the former Peter Cooper Corp. in Gowanda.

Survivors include a daughter, Roberta Palmeri, of Jamestown; two sons Richard (Patricia) Morris, of Orlando, FL; Ronald (Jennie) Morris, of Titusville, FL; and a sister, Virginia Slivka, of Huron, OH. Also surviving are four granddaughters, several great grandchildren and four nieces & one nephew.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband & father of her children Alfred Morris, her second husband Willard Stockweather, by a infant son, Randy Morris, who died August 29, 1955 and by a brother Emory Rose, who died in February 1994.

Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Cherry Creek Central Cemetery.
