LITTLETON, CO: Frances K. Gostomski, 96, of West Rafferty Gardens Avenue, Littleton, CO, formerly of Forestville, died Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at the Porter Adventist Hospital, Denver, CO. She was born in Dunkirk, on September 8, 1923, the daughter of the late George and Joann (Bekeleski) Kuciapinski.

Mrs. Gostomski was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1942. She worked as a technician for the former Forbes & Wagner in Silver Creek, for 3 years and during WWII, she worked on aircraft for the former Curtis Wright Co., Buffalo. Mrs. Gostomski was a member of Faith Community of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Rose of Lima Church, Forestville, and the St. Rose Society, which she was an original organizer of the society and has been involved in many Lawn Fetes & activities, was a former member of the Kosciuszko Club, Dunkirk, was a supporter of the Holy Angels Society of Niagara University and was a long time Election Inspector. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, traveling & was an avid reader.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Hahn, of Owasso, OK; Denise Geagan, of Rochester Hills, MI; Debra Sehon, of Littleton, CO; and a son, David (Margaret) Gostomski, of Kingsport, TN. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leo Gostomski, whom she married May 16, 1945 in St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Forestville and who died April 21, 1982, by her loving companion Alfred Arnold who died July 3, 2009, by three sisters Julia Denton, Florence Plezewski, Esther Arnold, two brothers Chester & William Kuciapinski and by an infant brother Adam Kuciapinski.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 2-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o’clock from Faith Community of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Rose of Lima Church, Center Street, Forestville, with Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn, pastor officiating. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.
