Rocco A. “Rocky” LeGrano, 88, of Fredonia, N.Y., died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Brooks Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Rocky was born August 8, 1931 in Fredonia to Paul and Frances LoDico LeGrano. Raised in Fredonia, he attended Fredonia Schools.

Early in his life, he was a meat-cutter by trade, working at the local A&P. In the 1970’s, he established R.A. LeGrano Real Estate, where he owned and managed numerous apartment rentals in the area. Hard-working and a talented craftsman, he was a “Jack of All Trades” as he was skilled at carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Rocky was a long-time member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dunkirk, where he served as an usher for 30 years.

His wife, Barbara Kroll LeGrano, passed away in 2016. Rocky is survived by his three children, Christine (Robert) Khneiger, of Garner, N.C., Robert (Deborah) LeGrano, of Fredonia, and Kevin LeGrano, of Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his sister, Pauline (Late Jerry) Trindell; several neices and nephews and his companion Tipper.

Besides his parents, Paul and Frances LeGrano, his wife, Barbara LeGrano, Rocky is predeceased by his great-granddaughter, Bristol LeGrano; two sisters: Lucille Dieteman and Gertrude (Late Charles) Mancuso. Funeral services will be private.
