Sophie A. Tenamore

She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 24, 1923 the daughter of the late John and Martha Ryskalczyk.

She lived in North Tonawanda, NY, in Dunkirk for many years than moved to Ocala, FL for 26 years and in 2015 took up residence at St. Columban’s, Silver Creek, NY.

Sophie belonged to the Dunkirk Senior Citizens, RSVP and AARP and was a member of Blessed Trinity Church in Ocala, FL and Holy Trinity Church in Dunkirk.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Kibbe of Dunkirk; stepchildren Valerie (Jim) Sholly of Summerville, SC; Judith Tenamore (Dan Halas) of Fredonia; Joseph (Kim) Tenamore of Lakeland, FL;, son in law George Civiletto of Dunkirk; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Also good friends Ruth Bolduc and Ditmar and Linda Wissell and sons.

She was predeceased by 1st husband Martin P, Szlachta, 2nd husband Emil J Tenamore daughter Rose M. Civiletto, sister Helen Brzezinski, brothers Francis, Stanley, Joseph, and Walter Ryskalczyk.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date.
