Cheryl A. Kawski Cole

She was born July 2, 1957, in Dunkirk, N.Y.

Cheryl graduated from Brocton Central School, class of 1975.

She is survived by her three sons: Brandon (Dawn) of Dunkirk, N.Y., Gregory of North East, Pa., and Bryan (Missy) also from North East, Pa.; grandchildren: Brandon Jr, Skyler, Tyler and Liam; and great-grandchild: Landon. She is the daughter of Stanley Kawski (Bev Adzimo) and the later Doris Manzella Kawski.

Also survived by her sister, Patty Porteus of West Seneca; and brother, Mark (Renee’) of Westfield; and nephews Connor and Kyle Porteus and Dillon and Lucas Kawski.

Cheri loved entertaining her family and friends for all the holidays and barbecues and always sending everyone home with her famous chocolate peanut butter balls. She loved living by Lake Erie, often sleeping outside to hear the crashing waves and watching incoming storms, as well as camping and kayaking with her family at Cook Forest.

Cheri worked in the restaurant industry for many years and more recently serving at Pine Junction in Findley Lake, where her compassion and pride for making people happy was apparent.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangement are entrusted to Akins Funeral Home, Erie, Pa.
