James C. Conklin

Born in Gowanda on Sept. 14, 1946, the son of Carlton and Elsie (Klepfer) Conklin.

Jim married Helen M. Spire on June 20, 1975, Helen Survives.

An over the road truck driver, Jim retired from Shan-Lor Trucking of Fredonia.

Surviving besides his wife of 45 years is a son, Anthony (Monica) Spire of South Dayton; grandchildren: Zach Spire, Lane and Chance White. Jim is also survived by a brother, Al (Linda) Conklin; along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by a sister, Irene Geiger; and a brother, Ronald Conklin.

Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St., Gowanda, Sunday, June 28, 2020, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. (social distancing, mask and Covid restrictions will be in forced during visitation) A private family burial will take place Monday in the Brant Cemetery.

If desired, memorials may be made to a local charity of ones choice.
