Margaret R. “Peg” Steves

She was born February 6, 1948 in South Dayton, N.Y., daughter of the late Charles Stiles and Rosaline (Lindsey) Stiles, who survives and resides in Gowanda N.Y.

Mrs. Steves had been employed at Gowanda Electronics, Gowanda Central School and at Carrier Coach. She was a member of the Dayton Fire Dept Auxillary.

She was predeceased by her husband John Steves in 1999.

She is survived by a son Richard (Amie) Ulmer Jr. of Dayton, N.Y. and a daughter Lisa (Mark) Huffman Sr. of Perrysburg, N.Y. and 3 grandchildren Mark Jr., Shawn (Jamie) and Charlynn and a great grandchild Dax and one on the way. Also surviving are 2 brothers Charles (Debbie) Stiles Jr. of Kentucky and Eugene Stiles of Gowanda, N.Y., 2 nephews Cory and Keith Stiles and a niece Crystal Whalen.

Private family services will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, N.Y.

Burial will be in Parklawn Cemetery.
