James H. Gibbons

Jim was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He attended Dunkirk High School for three years and graduated from Lebanon Senior High School in Lebanon, Pa. Jim attended Cornell University, Shippensburg University, and finished his degree from the University of Colorado. Jim was a athlete. He played football, ran track and field, and loved to ski. Jim was a avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing and camping.

Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years Elizabeth (Betsy Brosey) Gibbons of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his parents James and Elizabeth Gibbons of Dunkirk, N.Y. ; his siblings, Brian (Beatrice) Gibbons of St. Petersburg, Florida; Kevin Gibbons of Vermillion, Ohio; Mary (Mark) Horab of Billings, Montana; Thomas (Kristen) Gibbons of Hamburg, New York; Timothy (Lynn) Gibbons of New Market, Maryland; Terrence (Jaclyn) Gibbons of Fredonia, New York. Jimmy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
