GOWANDA — Anne M. Gernatt, 59, passed away early Friday morning Aug. 7, 2020 at the home of her sister and brother in-law ‘s in Conewango Valley, Town of Leon, surrounded by family.
Anne was born in Gowanda Dec. 10, 1960, the daughter of Alfred and Elaine ( Seamon) Gernatt.
A member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Gowanda, Anne is survived by her mother Elaine A. Gernatt of Perrysburg, her siblings; Catherine (DeWayne) Jones of Angola, Brian (Bev) Gernatt of Gowanda, Eric Gernatt of Brocton, Denise (Jay) Giglia of Alden , Christopher (Rhonda) Gernatt of Delevan and Amy (Brian) Spiller of Conewango Valley. Anne is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Anne was preceded in death by her father Alfred Gernatt in 2001.
A Memorial Mass for Anne will be held Saturday Aug. 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the St. Joseph’s R.C. Church on East Main St. in Gowanda with burial to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery Gowanda. Anne will be laid to rest next to her father.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to Roswell Park Neuroendocrine Research Dept., Carlton and Elm streets, Buffalo, N.Y. 14263.
