Christopher Patrick Durkin

He was the son of the late Daniel Joseph Durkin and Christiane Marguerite (Grenier) Durkin of Dunkirk, N.Y.; and the brother of the late Sean Claude Durkin of Las Vegas Nev.

He is survived by his youngest brother, Dennis Kevin Durkin of Roanoke, Texas; and one niece, Kori Shea Durkin of Fredonia, N.Y.

Christopher was a graduate of Dunkirk Senior High School, class of 1984, and a graduate of Geneseo College. In 1995, he earned a certification as an EMT and first responder, and went on to pursue his career as a senior computer programmer for a well known company.

Christopher enjoyed football, music, and video gaming. He also enjoyed creating designs on his 3D printer and driving his Mercedes.

He will be greatly missed and continually loved by many.

At the request of his mother, Mrs. Durkin, an intimate memorial service was held for family only on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at 11 a.m., at the Faith Baptist Church, East Second Street, Dunkirk, N.Y.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be determined.
