Shilrey A. Maslakowski

She was born in Buffalo on Aug. 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Theordore and Caroline (Lantman) Andrews.

She graduated from Forestville Central School, class of 1954. She worked for 33 years at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk in the nursing department. She was an officer of the Forestville PTA for three years, a charter member of the Shridan Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of AARP chapter 299 since 1992 and served as an officer for two years.

Suvivors include four sons: Edward (Debbie) Grzegorzewski Jr. of Cherry Creek, Larry (Debbie) Grzegorzewski of Dunkirk, Keith (Cheryl) Grzegorzewski of Portland and Alan (Tina) Grzegorzewski of Forestville a son-in-law, Don Ryan of Ashville; and a sister, Sharon Scott of Bemus Point; Also surviving are five grandchildren: Tiffany Meyers, Cristin, Abbie and Dakota Grzegorzewski and Sara (Mike) Swanson; also three great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Grzegorzewski Sr.; her second husbnd, Henry Maslakowski; a daughter, Carolyn Ryan; and a grandson, Nicholas Grzegorzewski.

Shirley donated her body to the State University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences for anatomical studies and medical research. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
