Glenn R. Olsen

Glenn was born in Buffalo on May 31, 1949, the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Sugg) Olsen.

He graduated from Forestville CSD 1969. Glenn retired from H. Olsen and Sons Contractors Inc. in September 2019, where he was employed for 53 years and was part owner. Glenn was also part owner of Forest Lanes, until it burned down in 1999.

Glenn is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Bret) Horton of North Carolina; daughter, Lindsay (Brennan) Smith of North Carolina; grandchildren: Wyatt, Lyanna, Brody and Blake; brothers: Gerald (Suzanne) Olsen and Larson (Debbie) Olsen; sisters: Jacquelyn (Kenneth) Kerstetter and Valerie (late Larry) Robinson, all of Forestville; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Melvin) Schneider and sister-in-law, Deborah Gumkowski; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his brothers: Garry and Harry Olsen; and partner of many years, Cheryl Olsen.

A burial service will be held at Willowbrook Cemetery on a date to be determined.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to a local charity of one’s choice.
