Warren “Peanuts” Draggett
Warren “Peanuts” Draggett, 65, formerly of Fredonia, N.Y., died suddenly at UPMC Hospital in Altoona, Pa., on Aug. 30, 2020. He was born in Dunkirk, N.Y., on Aug. 28, 1955, to the late Warren O. and Laura (Saccamino) Draggett.
He was educated through the Fredonia School system and on Nov. 29, 1975, he married Donna Alaimo in the Methodist Church in Laona. Most of his lifetime was spent in the trucking industry. He had been employed as a trucker and mechanic by the Bulk- Matic Trucking Company in Buffalo, N.Y.
Warren was a great fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabers. He also enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. But, most of all, Peanuts loved being with his family and friends.
Besides his wife, Donna, Warren is survived by his son, Warren (Vrolet) Draggett III of Fredonia; and his daughter, Stacy Draggett of Fredonia. He is further survived by his sister, Lori Poorbaugh of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren: Donny Campbell, Darien Draggett, Jessica Brown, Destiny Draggett, Daisia Draggett, Drevin Draggett; and two great-grandchildren: Mason Shanks and Aklee Draggett.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Beach of Fredonia.
Warren’s 6 p.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME, 82 E. Main St., Fredonia, N.Y. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service and may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 2-6 p.m. Please wear masks and practice social distancing, since we are following the federal regulations of the CDC due to the CO-VID-19 pandemic crisis.
Interment will be privately held by the Family.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Michael R. Fantauzzi, owner and director of the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME.
