Willie Neallard Jr.

Willie Neallard Jr., 75, of Dunkirk died Monday morning (Sept. 14, 2020) at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. The Lord has called Willie Neallard Jr. home after a long battle with cancer. He was a long time resident of Dunkirk, N.Y. He was born and raised in Dawson, Ga., where he attended Dawson Ga. High School.

He was a long time worker at Dunkirk Radiator (E.C.R.) where he retired after 42 years of employment.

He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Annie Neallard; and his children: Willie Neallard (Ashley Kalfas), Lynette Neallard, Kelly Cambria (William Cambria), Tammy Stewart (William Earl Stewart), and Vonnie Evans; along with one deceased daughter, Patricia A. Lunsford.

His mother the late Cleo Green and Leanna Johnson, his father Jacob Green.

His deceased sister Alice May Johnson; and a brother Robert Harvey.

His grandchildren: are Marquavis, Lakita, Nakita, Shaunqualia, Latrece, Tamekia, Meesha, Shauomika, StarAsia, Keisha, Earl, Romel, Quanteer, Jayden and Dylan; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Willie has two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Harris (late Tommy Harris) and Mary Frances, David Walton. Brothers-in-law Billy, Roosevelt, Jessie.

He has many great-nieces and nephews.

He had two deceased in-laws, Idus and AnnieBelle Lunsford.

A host of aunts and cousins and very many close friends, especially Billy Pittman.

His favor thing to do was go to Matt’s News to play his numbers and joke around with Nate.

Following the guidelines and protocols administered by the governor of New York, family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., today, Sept. 18, at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Pastor Early G. Waller will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dunkirk.
