Alan R. Crowell

Alan R. Crowell, 69, of Bartlett Hill Road, South Dayton, passed away Monday, Aug. 10 2020, at his daughter’s residence in Forestville, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Silver Creek, on Oct. 23, 1950. He was the son of Marilyn “Mickey” (Valentine) Crowell of South Dayton and the late Richard Crowell, father of Robin Zeman of Hampton, Va.; Tessa Zemgulys, of Chicago, Ill.; Kayme (Henry) Gianatasio, of Chicago, Ill.; and Jeffrey (Moriah) Keddie of Fredonia; and brother of Linda (Sherman Bailey) Hall, of Fredonia.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2020, at 4 p.m. from the Waterman Farm, 308 Route 39, Forestville with the Rev. Andrew Hall, nephew of the deceased officiating.

A Masonic service will be conducted by members of Hanover Lodge No. 152 F&AM, Forestville and a military service will be conducted by members of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post No. 953, Forestville.
