Janet M. Nichols

Born on Sept. 21, 1956 in Olean she was the daughter of John N. and Patricia Ganoung Page.

Janet married Steven Nichols on July 24, 2002 in Weston Mills N.Y. Mr. Nichols survives. Janet was a graduate of the Bolivar Central School class of 1974, and received her associate degree in Business Administration from Olean Business Institute in 1994. She began her working career as a store manager of Abyss Restaurant in Olean, later was employed by Cattaraugus Co BOCES for ten years as an account clerk specialist, Erie 2 BOCES as an account clerk, employed by Pine Valley Central School as Elementary School Secretary for ten years, Chautagua County Opportunities in Dunkirk as Executive Assistant prior to her retirement. She was a former member of the Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion Aux. Bolivar. Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Robert Osborne Ceres N.Y. Tonya Ham Cassadaga N.Y. Three Stepchildren Samantha Nichols Fredonia N.Y. Jessica Nichols Forestville N.Y. William Nichols Fredonia N.Y. Ten Grandchildren. Five Brothers and one Sister. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Wednesday from 4-7P.M.

Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday October 29, 2020 at 11 A.M. Alva Cornell pastor of the Bolivar United Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery Olean.
