John C. Burke
John C. Burke of Akron, N.Y. passed away at his home after a long illness on Oct. 2, 2020.
He was born June 29,1942, in Silver Creek, N.Y. He was the son of the late Stanley G. and Ella C. Burek(Kulpa).
He is survived by his sons Branton B. Burke of San Francisco, Calif., and Creighton C. Burke of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; as well as his brother, Daniel Burek, of Seguin, Texas. Also surviving him are nephews: Aaron Burek of Gonzales, Texas; Todd Burek of San Antonio, Texas; Brian Mason of Dunkirk, N.Y.; and nieces: Jill Michalski (Burek) of Fredonia, N.Y., and Renee Burek of Corpus Christie, Texas; wife, Pamela Burke (Bednarek); and step-daughters: Coryn J. Schrock (Bednarek) and Taryn L Vohwinkel (Bednarek,) all residing in Akron, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by sister, Carol Mason; and brother, Thomas E. Burek.
