Dennis John Cudney
Dennis John Cudney, 77, of Forestville, N.Y., passed away Jan. 8, 2021, at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Ferris J. Cudney and Joan C. Cudney.
Dennis graduated from St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and went on to work for the United States Postal Service. He loved working on classic cars and enjoyed drag racing. He was a life-long volunteer firefighter, first as a member of the Rapids Volunteer Fire Company and more recently in the Hanover Hose Company. Dennis was a member of the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club and a Patriot Guard Rider. He also gave generously of his time volunteering for the Forestville Food Pantry.
He will be greatly missed by his life partner, Deborah Kuczynski; his children: Denise Cudney, Joseph Cudney and Kimberly (Jason) Zakes; his stepdaughter, Jessica Oberlander; his grandchildren: Connor Cudney, Sage Cudney, Benjamin Zakes, Megan Zakes, and Lillian Oberlander; his siblings: Joanne (James) Brown, Bernard (Sarah) Cudney, Diane (Robert) Ward, Sharon (Daniel) Cinski and the late Joseph Cudney; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his faithful canine companion, Harley.
