Dominick A. DeSanto Jr.

Dominick was born Aug. 27, 1933 to Henrietta (Trumpp) and Dominick A. DeSanto Sr. in Albany N.Y.

He was a longtime resident of Dunkirk, N.Y. but desired to return to Albany. N.Y., someday.

Dominick is survived by his wife of 37 years, Alice L. (Samuelson) DeSanto and his children: Stephen DeSanto, Rita Moniot (Mike), Sandra DeSanto, Geoffrey DeSanto and Beverly Rosen (Bob); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Dominick was preceded in death by his brother, Charles DeSanto (Celine); and his sister, Barbara Fredericks (Ralph).

Dominick worked for Alleghany Ludlum Steel Corp for many years prior to Dunkirk Ice Cream/Fieldbrook Farms as well as delivering for Meals on Wheels.

He enjoyed bowling, woodworking and computer technology. Dominick was a longtime member of the Fredonia Family Church and was a devote Christian. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service to honor him will be announced at a later date.
