Nancy L. Leid

Nancy was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Jamestown, N.Y., and raised in Sherman, N.Y. She was the third daughter of four born to the late Melvin John Croscut and Mary E. Stebbins Croscut. Nancy graduated from Sherman Central School and then completed a degree in Cosmetology. She was a resident of Westfield for over 50 years, where she owned and operated her own beauty salon.

Nancy loved her family and friends more than anything. She had many wonderful friends that she considered to be part of her extended family. Nancy was also a loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by her three sons: Robert (Lisa), James (Becky), and Thomas (Kimberly); and her three sisters: Mary Jean, Carolyn and Diane (Dave). She is further survived by her grandchildren: Ryan, Justin, Mekenna, Jenna, Ethan; great-grandchild, Jayden; her nephews: Steve (Cathy) and John and her nieces Amy (Tim), Tracy (Tom); and her many friends.

A social gathering in remembrance of Nancy, for family and friends, will be announced at a later date.
