Richard Vargas

Richard Vargas

Richard Vargas died on Wednesday March 30 at his residence in Fredonia, NY. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 5, 1982 to Jose A. and Lourdes Vargas. Legally, his name is Richard Vargas, but, to everyone that knows him personally, he is “Richie.” Richie was a son, brother, father, and husband. Richie was the baby of the house. From a young age, he was referred to as a prankster and jokester. He was the type of person to give the shirt off his back and a blessing to those he encountered. Richie was helpful and quite the handy man. He loved remodeling and making a regular house and/or home worthy. He enjoyed his Mother’s company almost everyday and had a cup of coffee with great conversations.

He was the most loving, compassionate, and selfless human being. He had the strength of a lion, ready to carry the burdens of those hurting and suffering, while facing his own trials and tribulations. The smile he wore reassured and comforted those around him, regardless of what they were going through.

After so many years lost, he opened his heart and accepted Jesus Christ back into his life. His last two months, he understood his true purpose in Christ Jesus. His purpose was to reach as many souls and show them the love of God.

On behalf of Ritchie, he would like to say.

“Jesus loves you”!

Besides his parents, Richie is survived by his brothers: Jose A. Jr., Daniel, Samuel, Angel and Joel Vargas, sisters; Myriam I., & Lourdes Vargas and Merari (Bobby)Delanoy. He is further survived by his children, Jeremiah I. and Maria Star Vargas.

His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Vessel of Honor, Inc. Church, 601 Eagle Street, Dunkirk, NY, 14048. Relatives and friends may call at the Church between 10:00 A.M.-1:00 PM, prior to the Funeral Service.
