Amanda L. Cuthbert

Amanda was born on June 11, 1988, in Dunkirk, N.Y., the daughter of Myra Doner and Kelley Thies.

She was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, “Class of 2006”. Amanda was a caring individual who worked as a nurse’s aide privately. She especially liked to help autistic children. She loved animals, taking long walks and the outdoors.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Myra Doner of Silver Creek; her father, Kelley Thies of Dixon, Ill.; a daughter, Isabell G. Cuthbert of Silver Creek; a brother, Adam Thies and his wife, Brittanny, of Dixon, Ill; a sister, Alysia Thies of Silver Creek; a maternal grandmother, Ann Doner of Silver Creek; a paternal grandmother, Connie Barnes of Dixon, Ill.; her husband, Jonathan Cuthbert; her father and mother-in-laws, Gary and Toni Cuthbert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Doner Sr.; and her paternal grandfather, Jacob Thies.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, on Monday, May 3, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be private.
