Carole Jean (Whitehead) Hudson
Carole Jean (Whitehead) Hudson, of Middletown, Pa., formerly of Dunkirk, passed away peacefully at home, Friday May 7, 2021.
Born Sept. 1, 1942, in Dunkirk, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Helwig) Whitehead.
Carole was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, class of 1961. Upon graduation Carole attended Erie Community College, where she earned her associates in applied science or dental hygiene.
She worked as a hygienist for James Foley, DDS. until 1994 when she retired to enjoy winters in Florida and summers in VanBuren Point.
Carole enjoyed going to yard sales and finding unique treasures, refinishing antique furniture, golfing, exercise classes and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Paden: sons: Timothy and Thomas Hudson; grandchildren: Brian (Tiffany) Lewis, Brittany Lewis, Trevor and Tyler Hudson; brother, John (Mary) Whitehead Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Charles F. Hudson.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. It is requested that memorial contributions be made to the Resource Center, 200 Dunham Ave. Jamestown, NY 14701.
