John C. Tinstman

John C. Tinstman, 81, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away April 1, 2021, in the care of Hospice with his family by his side.

Born in New Kensington, Pa., and he graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College. John moved to Dunkirk, N.Y., in 1972 where he was the owner and operator of the White Village Restaurant for 40 years and retired to Bradenton, Fla. in 2012. John loved and was loved by his family and many friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing trips to Canada, hunting, boating, snowmobiling and gardening. He had a wonderful sense of humor, often the life of the party and always enjoyed a funny story or joke. He will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ruth Ann Tinstman. John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen; sons: Jeff (Dawn) Tinstman and John (Amy) Tinstman Jr.; sister, Marianne Irwin; grandchildren: Joshua and Matthew Tinstman; and along with nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
