Daniel J. Dubiel
Daniel J. Dubiel, was a caring husband, grandfather, brother, friend to all who knew him. He left this world on July 12, 2021, at the age of 70, after a three year battle with cancer. He was a fighter.
Born on July 19, 1950, in Dunkirk, N.Y., he followed his dream of becoming a firefighter, where he worked and retired as a driver from City of Baytown Fire Department. He was the union president of Local 1173, and fought hard to help other firefighters.
He married Joan Balser and together they had a son, Daniel Dubiel, and a daughter Karen Dubiel; two grandchildren: Rylan Dubiel and Janci Dubiel. He is survived by his sisters: Maryann Dascenzo and Patty Paterson.
