Beatrice P. Lamb

Beatrice P. Lamb, 92, of Fredonia, N.Y. died Thursday morning (July 29, 2021) at Westfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 16, 1929, in Fredonia, the daughter of the late Vincent and Florence (Begier) Kopliner and was married to the late Arthur Lamb for 62 years.

Beatrice was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling around the country in the motorhome, and supporting her husband in his many adventures.

Survivors include two sons: Eric (Sue) Lamb of Fredonia, and Timothy Lamb of Buffalo, WVa.; four grandsons: Scott (Julie) Lamb of Castle Rock, Colo., Jason Lamb of Eugene, Ore., Jeremy Lamb of Cross Lanes, WVa., and Kurt Lamb of Huntington, WVa.; and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters: Agatha (Edwin) Case and Irene (Anthony) Kozlowski, both of Fredonia, Adeline (Robert) Farnham of California, Geraldine (Joseph) Prell of Florida, and Mary (James) Harrington of Dunkirk; and her brother, Vincent Kopliner of Fredonia.

Calling hours will be held Monday, Aug. 2, from 7-9 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central Ave., Dunkirk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 3, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 145 East Main St., Fredonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
