Richard C. Wolanin “Dick”

Loving husband of the late Frances (nee Binko) Wolanin; beloved father of Michael and Steven (Melissa) Wolanin and Lisa (Alan) DeSantis; cherished grand-father of Kendall and Blake DeSantis, Reid and Erik Wolanin; son of the late Frank and Leonarda (nee Lentz) Wolanin; dear broth-er of the late Florence Lasecki, Leo Wolanin, Loretta Kazmierczak and Francis Kuziora.
Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, N.Y., on Friday from 4-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Peter & Paul RC Church, 66 E. Main St., Hamburg on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.. (Please assemble at the church). Inter-ment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Richard married Frances Binko on July 1, 1961. He worked at Alco in Dunkirk, N.Y., Blackstone in James-town, N.Y., Bethlehem Steel Buffalo Tank division in Lackawanna, N.Y., and A&A Metal Fabricating in Perry, N.Y., until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the 4th Ward Falcon Club and the Kosciuszko Club in Dunkirk, NY, a life member of the Sheridan Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6390. Dick was a diehard Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Cleveland Indians Fan.
