Aaron M. Klimek

ELYRIA, Ohio — Aaron M. Klimek, 48. of Ohio, formerly of Gowanda, passed away Tuesday. Aug. 31, 2021 in Ohio.

Aaron was born at the former Tri-County Hospital in Gowanda on Feb. 18, 1973, to Stanley and Bonnie ( Ebert) Klimek.

Aaron graduated from Gowanda Central School , class of ’91, after graduation he enlisted with the U.S. Army. Aaron honorably served with the U.S. Army for seven years. After serving he went on to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he received three degrees abd pursued his MBA degree landing a job with the U.S. Navy, at the time of his death he was still actively employed. He was branch head of Military Accounting for the Chief of Naval Personnel. Aaron was an easy going kind of guy that lit up the room when he entered. He loved his family and cherished his friends.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years the former Rhonda Arnold, whom he married in Raleigh, N. C., on Feb. 12, 1994; their daughter, Emily E. Klimek at home in Ohio; his mother , Bonnie (Robert) Gabel of Gowanda; sister, Katherine (Duane) Banks of Meadville, Pa.; stepsisters: Sharon (Jim) Fischette of Waxachie, Texas, and Linda (David) Sahr of Macedon, N.Y.; nieces and nephews survive; as do many cousins. Aaron is also survived by his mother-in-law, Frances Arnold of Raleigh, N.C.; along with aunts and uncles: Judy Dave Snyder of Leon, N.Y., Loretta Klimek of Lusby , Md.. and Helen (Andy) Dorko of Renfrew, Pa.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Klimek (June 15, 1979); his maternal grandparents, Howard and Marjorie (Emke) Ebert; paternal grandparents, Frank and Catherine (Myslivy) Klimek.; his father -in-law, Wayne Arnold; along with five aunts and uncles .

A memorial service with full military honors will be held in Ohio on Friday Sept. 10, 2021, at 3 p.m. A family graveside service will take place at the Jolls Cemetery in Perrysburg at a later date where Aaron will be laid to rest with his father.
