John A. Catalino

John A. Catalino, 76, of Silver Creek, N.Y., passed away on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Buffalo General Hospital.

He was born on March 15, 1945 in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of the late Lewis and Genevieve (Gott) Catalino. On May 5, 1978 .he married Paula Bible in Silver Creek, N.Y.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Paula Catalino; four daughters: Bernice Gehrke of East Aurora, N.Y., Pamela (Donald) Fox of Irving, N.Y., Melinda (Brandon) Delcamp of Silver Creek, and Nicole (Christina) Donahue of Dunkirk, N.Y.; two son: Ronald (Jackie) Catalino of Hamburg, N.Y., and Ben Catalino of New York City; 12 grandchildren: Nathan, John, Amber, Josh, Dylan, Julia, D.J., Keirsten, Jonah, Olivia, Jayden and Keenan; four great-grandchildren: Nelson, Kinslee, Asher and Jasmine; a brother, Daniel (Liz) Catalino of Angola, N.Y.; a sister, Marietta (William) Barney W. Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters-in-law: Linda (Bill) Bender of Silver Creek, and Vickie (Robert) Badia of Zephyrhills, Fla.

He was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Peggy (the late Frank) Borrello and Patty Bible.

John was a 1963 graduate of Lake Shore High School. He worked for the Silver Creek Central School District as a bus driver for many years. He was an accomplished tattoo artist, known for his custom air brushed tattoos and liked to restore and paint cars.

He loved his family and enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events, chorus concerts and their annual camping trip to Allegany State Park.

Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek, on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, from 3-6 p.m., where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., The Revs. James and Linda Morrison of Silver Creek Assembly of God will officiate. Interment will be private.
