Roy R. Grover Sr.
Roy R. Grover Sr. died on Aug. 24, 2021, at Sisters Hospital of Buffalo, N.Y., following a long illness. He was born Feb. 26, 1979, in Mayville, N.Y., to Deborah and the late Robert Grover.
He attended the Cassadaga School System, but, was a resident of Dunkirk, N.Y. Roy worked for various companies in Chautauqua County, including The Carriage House in Fredonia, N.Y., and the Mogan David Wine Company in Westfield, N.Y.
Roy is survived by his loving wife, Sarah (Proctor) Grover and his children: Alaynea, Isabelle, Piper and Chloe Grover and his son, Roy Grover Jr. He is further survived by his brothers: Robert, Edward, James, Mark and Clarence Grover: his sister, Missy Grover-Wright; and his only grandchild, Myles Grover.
Roy’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at 4 p.m., in the Open Door Baptist Church, Luce Road, in Cassadaga, N.Y. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service. Private interment will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, in the Cassadaga Cemetery on Maple Avenue in Cassadaga, N.Y.
