Barbara Ann (Rose) Hribar

She was born in Dunkirk, N.Y., on July 20, 1957, a daughter of the late Earl Rose and Marjorie (Carberry) Osborn.

Barbara was employed with Walgreens in Jacksonville, Fla., for many years before moving back to the Erie, Pa. area. She was then self-employed selling merchandise at various flea markets and outlets. Barbara enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, crafts, cross stitch, knitting and spending time with her many grandchildren. She enjoyed watching Tennessee Titans football and had a dream to live in Tennesee someday.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Barbara is survived by her children: Michael (Brook) Schifano, Shannon (Brent) Hartshorn, Matthew (Jennifer) Szukala, Mark Szukala and Holly Szukala; sister, Debra Pencek; brother, Christopher (Suzanne) Rose; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Oct. 23, 2021 at 1 p.m., at the East Town Dunkirk Fire Hall 10949 S. Roberts Road Dunkirk N.Y.
