Jose’ A. Cardona

He was born on Oct. 3, 1961, to Maria Figueroa and the late Hermes Cardona in Yauco, Puerto Rico and received his education in Fajaelo, Puerto Rico. During his lifetime, Jose’ enjoyed being a mechanic.

Jose’ is survived by his children: Steven Cardona, Michael Cardona and Jennifer (Cardona) Rivera; and grandchildren; Harmony Rivera, Emiliano Rivera and Elijah Harris. He is further survived by his stepchildren: Heriberto Martinez, Hector Gonzalez, Josue Gonzalez, Brenda Quinones, Wanda Quinones, Juan Quinones and Samuel Quinones. He will be truly missed by his several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters: Madeline Rivera, Lilian Hosein and Myra Torres.

Besides his parents, Jose’ was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margarita, who just passed away on Sept. 27, 2021.

Relatives and friends may call at the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME, 82 E. Main St., Fredonia, N.Y., to express their condolences on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, from 4-7- p.m. Jose’s funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dunkirk, N.Y.
