Josephine L. Dawley Beightol
Josephine L. Dawley Beightol left this world to be with her Lord Jesus Christ at 6:10 p.m. Oct. 2, 2021. She leaves behind her three children: David Dawley, Pamela Lynden and Bryan Dawley; her husband, Jeffrey K Beightol; two grandsons: Kyle Dawley and Dakota Ulmer; and one great-granddaughter, Kinsley Rein Dawley.
Josephine was a former judge in the town of Dayton, queen of the local Red Hatters Club, a former partner of Harley Davidson of Jamestown, and a New York State retired employee.
She brought much love to her family and friends and will long be remembered for her sense of humor. She was one of the good things in this world and will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held at the Sough Dayton United Methodist Church on Pine Street at 11 a.m., October 23rd. Following the service there will be a reception at Zollinger’s Hotel.
