Lorraine F. Palczewski

GOWANDA — Lorraine F. Palczewski, 91, of Gowanda, passed away peacefully at the Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Gowanda, Thursday morning Oct. 21, 2021.

While she never learned to ride a bike or drive a car, Lorraine loved to kick up her heels and dance the night away with her husband, Louie at Kleinhans Music hall and stroll along the sandy beaches of Hollywood , Fla., and Cape Cod, Mass. Lorraine enjoyed reading novels and solving crossword puzzles while sipping a flavorful cup of tea, collecting teddy bears, planting pink flowers in her scenic backyard in the town of Boston, N.Y., setting pretty tablescspes and decking the halls for the holidays .

A native of Leominster, Mass., Lorraine stated true to her Irish roots and enjoyed dining on full bellied clams, beans and brown bread , mounds bars and a cold glass of Guinness.

She is survived by her 4 daughters: Susan Cowan, Dyan Robbins, Linda Palczewski and Marie Kelley. Lorraine is also survived by five grandchildren: Kyle, Kara, Caitlin, Coleen and Kevin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date .
