Marilyn Perry-Erdley

Marilyn Perry-Erdley, 78, of Silver Creek, N.Y., passed away on Sunday evening, Oct. 17, 2021, at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born on March 4, 1943, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Elmer and Betty (Rooney) Perry. On Aug. 30, 1992, she married Thomas W. Erdley in Angola, N.Y.

Surviving are two daughters, Angela Carbone of Clarence, N.Y., and Kim M. Perry of Silver Creek, N.Y.; a son, Anthony W. Perry of Silver Creek; a step-son, Thomas C. Erdley of Lakeview, N.Y.; a step-daughter, Teresa (Jim) Perry of Angola, N.Y.; five step-grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, Jimmy, Jack and Rebecca; two brothers, Jeff Perry of Cheektowaga, N.Y., and Mitchell (Linda) Perry of Boston, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Carol Spruce of Eden, N.Y.; survived by many nieces and nephews and her Australian cattle dog, Ricky Jones.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan A. Perry and six canine companions, Major, Charlie, Alex, Ben, Wilma and Sarge.

Marilyn worked for herself in healthcare as a personal care aide. She helped many families who needed in home nursing.

She loved animals, especially Newfoundland dogs, cooking, riding horses, painting with water colors.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, N.Y., where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be at the Glenwood Cemetery.
