Michael “Mike McDonald

Michael “Mike” McDonald, 65, formerly of Perrysburg, passed away in Ocala .

Mike was born in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Paul and Helen (Holland) McDonald, Dec. 3, 1955.

He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years and loved participating in stock car racing and watching NASCAR . Most recently Mike enjoyed going for rides on his Harley with his friends in Florida .

Survivors include a son, Christopher McDonald, a daughter , Megan (Steven) VillaReale and a grandson, Edwin VillaReale, all of Buffalo; brothers: Paul (Kathryn) McDonald of Gowanda, and John (Tonia) McDonald of East Amherst. Several nieces and nephews also survive .

Besides his parents Michael was preceded in death by a brother Alan McDonald .

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at 11a.m., from the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St. Gowanda, with burial to follow in the Cottage Cemetery .
