Patricia Ann (Lawton) Braidich
Patricia Ann (Lawton) Braidich of Silver Creek, passed away on Oct. 5, 2021, surrounded by her loving family following a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born on May 19, 1945, to Norris and Dorothy (Schiedel) Lawton.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by a sister, Beverly (Lawton) Sandell; brothers: Walter and Norris (Buddy) Lawton Jr. and sisters-in- law: Margery and Dorothy (Dottie) Lawton.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald Lawton; her children: Paula (William) Ferneza, Timothy (Karin) Braidich and Charles Brett Braidich; and her cherished grandchildren: William Buchholz, Lauren (Michael) Nelson, Megan (Nick DeJoe) Buchholz, Shelby (Shon) Russell, Timothy Braidich Jr., Brianna Braidich, and Victoria (Nick) Mays. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Known as “our sassy lady in red” and as “Grandma Poochie,” her wit, feisty spirit, and sup-port will be sorely missed. Patricia donated her body to the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the Silver Creek Fire Department or to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
