Donna K. Wilson, 88, of Silver Creek, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, Dec. 11, 2021, at Brooks Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side.

She was born on May 8, 1933, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late Harold and Mina (Niederlander) Bulow. On October 2, 1954, she married Alvin J. Wilson in Jamestown, N.Y.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Alvin J. Wilson; two sons: David (Peggy) Wilson of Stockton, N.Y., and Michael (Cindy) Wilson of Silver Creek; a daughter, Shari (Carl) Tona of Depew, N.Y.; eight cherished grandchildren: and Christopher (Becky) Wilson, Scott (Kristen) Tona, Lisa (Scott) Michalski, Scott (Wendy) Emley, Stacy (Nicholas) Walker, Shawnna (Jared) Gustafson, Josh (Kim) and Jennifer Hite; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Donna was a 1951 graduate of Jamestown High School. She continued her education at WCA Hospital School of Nursing graduating in 1953. She worked for Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, N.Y., Hanover General Hospital in Silver Creek and worked at the Anderson-Lee Library for more than 38 years.

One of her favorite hobbies was hiking in the Adirondack Mountains every September (fall) with her best friend, Joyce Cullen. They did this for over 18 years. The most important thing to her was being a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her memberships included the Order of the Eastern Star Ladies Auxiliary, Silver Creek Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Silver Creek Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, from 11a.m.-1 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be private in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery.
