Michael J. Eddy

He was born March 24, 1969, in Gowanda, N.Y., the son of James and Bonnie (Mattson) Eddy.

On Aug. 15, 1992, he married the former Tina Conklin who survives.

Besides his loving wife of 29 years, he is survived by his father, James (Gail Linda) Eddy of Collins, N.Y.; his mother, Bonnie Mattson of Springville, N.Y. He is also survived by a son, Jerrick Eddy of Gowanda, N.Y., and a daughter, Makayla Eddy of Fredonia, N.Y.; and a step- brother, Wayne (Traci) Olson of Perrysburg, N.Y.; and three sisters: Kim (Ken) Glass, Tammy (Joe) Tomaszewski and Tia McClain; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Eddy was a very active member of Local 17 Union and was an equipment operator for many years. He was a member of the Southern Tier Snowbounders Snowmobile Club and was the trail boss for many snowmobile trips. He also enjoyed off roading with his dirt bikes and especially his Bronco.

Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 E. Main St., in Gowanda, N.Y., on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at 11a.m., from Gowanda Free Methodist with a luncheon to follow.

Burial will be Pine Grove Cemetery in Gowanda, N.Y.
