Michael Peter Scott Jr. “Putz”

He was born Feb. 17, 1965, in Dunkirk, N.Y., the son of Michael Sr and Arlene Scott.

After graduating from Dunkirk High School in 1983, Michael went on to receive his degree from Kansas State University.

Michael worked for Dunkirk Ice-cream and Better Baked Foods. His hobbies included collecting Hot Wheels, yearly camping trips, concerts, spending time with his family and furbabies.

Michael is survived by his mother, Arlene Scott; his significant other, Dawn Peebles; the mother of his children, Ann Scott; his children: Jessica Cieplinski (Jonathan), Jolean Scott (Jovano Nitkiewicz), Joshua Scott and Hunter Peebles. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Charles, Dylan, Nadyne and Silas; his siblings: Jason Scott, Christine Ortega (Jorel), Sherry Brandt (Marvin) and Gina Scott.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Snow; and his father, Michael Scott Sr.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, from 11a.m.-1p.m., at the Jordan Funeral Home Sinclairville, N.Y.
