Tammy R. Bailey-Gardner

Tammy R. Bailey-Gardner, 55, of Westfield, died Saturday morning (Nov. 27, 2021) following a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan. 28, 1966, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Beck) Glad.

A lifelong resident of the area, Tammy was a graduate of Chautauqua High School.

Tammy fought a long hard battle with MS for 20 plus years but though all of that, she never lost her smile or the ability to make others around her laugh. Whether it be listening to her favorite country singers: Trace Adkins and Collin Raye, watching her favorite actors: Chuck Norris and John Cena, or her all time favorite game show host, Wayne Brady, she always had that beautiful smile on her face. She loved spending time with family and friends and especially her son, Collin-Raye, who was her whole world Her infectious laugh and radiant smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include two sons: CollinRaye Bailey of Westfield, and Joshua (Heidi) Tresler of Fredonia; one brother, Fred (Rita) Himes of Dade City, Fla.; sister-in-law, Charlotte Himes of Westfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Gardner, who died April 13, 2021; an infant daughter, Shania Gardner; and two brothers: Clyde “Butch” Himes and Timothy Himes.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
