Arthur C. Parker Jr.

Born in Buffalo, April 11, 1933, the son of Arthur C. Sr and Lillian (Lay) Parker.

Art was a Korean War veteran honorably serving his country with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Labor Union 210 and the Iron Workers Union 6.

Survivors include his wife, the former Denise Jamison; children: Sherri Nephew of Irving, Audrey Johnson, Sean “Boe” (Bianca) Johnson, all of Gowanda, and Ronald Tallchief of Collins. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive . Art is also survived by his siblings: Allen Parker, Judith Prince, Karen “Oat” Jimerson, Lester Parker, Yvonne ” Dee Dee” Parker, Laverne ” “Eagle” Parker, Glen Parker and Kate Park-er.

Besides his parents, Art was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, LaVan and Cybil Eels; his first wife, Marjorie Jackson Parker; a daughter, Kimberly Parker; sisters: Janet ”Jazzy”, Alicia Eels and Girlie Eels; and brothers: Marky Parker and Lee Parker

A funeral will be held Friday, Jan, 21, at 2 p.m., from the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St., Gowanda (masks required) there will be no prior visitation .

Interment will be with his first wife, Marjorie at the Pine Woods Cemetery.
