GOWANDA -- Bonnie L. Offhaus, 79, passed away at home Tuesday morning Jan. 18, 2022 surrounded by her children.
Born in Gowanda, July 9, 1942, the eldest of three daughters born to Harold "Hoot" and Martha (Priester) Gibson.
Bonnie married Merritt W. Offhaus April 28, 1962, Merritt passed away Dec. 22, 2019.
Bonnie and her husband took over the family business, the former Harold's Lounge in Gowanda, which they ran for many years before retiring .
Survivors include three children: Michael J. Offhaus of Gowanda, Steven W. (Debbie) Offhaus of Colorado, and Melinda A. Samuelson of Lockport. Grandchildren: Vincent Offhaus. Zachary, Hunter and Megan Samuelson. Bonnie is the sister of Cynthia (Ronald) Elvin of Angola and Brenda (late Daniel J.) Bylbie of Springville. Nieces and nephews also survive .
As per Bonnie's wishes there will be no prior visitation or memorial She will be buried privately next to her husband at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Gowanda .
If desired, memorials may be made to a local charity of ones choice
