David J. Gregory

He was born on Aug. 14, 1945, in Gowanda, N.Y., the son of the late Lynford and Mildred (Sullivan) Gregory. He married Nancey Mosher on July 2, 2005, in Angola, N.Y.

David is survived by his loving wife; a daughter, Devon Gregory of Summerville, S.C.; a son, Aaron (Melissa) Gregory of Ox-ford, Ohio; two step-daughters: Robin (Michael) Kettering of Angola, N.Y., and Tami (Michael Siragusa) Rohde of Nunnelly, Tenn.; six cherished grandchildren: Derek (Tracey), Jordan and Marissa Rohde, Nathanael, Alexandria and Danielle Gregory; two great grandchildren: Griffin and Phoebe Rohde; also survived by several nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kip Gregory.

David was a 1966 graduate of Cattaraugus High School. He was true patriot having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Nestle Purina Petcare Co. in Dunkirk, N.Y., after many years of service.

His memberships included the Community Christian Church in Bartow, Fla, the Silver Creek American Legion, the Moniuszko Social Club of Dunkirk, NRA, Hanover Rod & Gun Club and the Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association of Stockton, N.Y.

First and foremost, David was a workaholic. He enjoyed working at Nestle Purina, farming, collecting tractors, refinishing wood-work, going to Florida in the wintertime and spending quality time with his family.

Friends may call at the Hole Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, N.Y., on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, from 2- 4 p.m., where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., the Rev. Michael Leamon will officiate. Interment will be private at Glenwood Cemetery.
