James Ellis Rowley,

He was born on January 27, 1963 in Dunkirk, N.Y. Jim was the son of the late William and Mary (Ellis) Rowley.

He graduated from Fredonia High School in 1981. He worked for many years at Pizza Village in Dunkirk and at the former Miller Roofing Company in Fredonia. Jim was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed following the Buffalo Sabres. In his spare time, he pursued crossword puzzles and other word games. Jim was a longtime member of the Moniuszko Social Club in Dunkirk. He was also a member of the Lakeside Club and of other social clubs in Dunkirk.

Jim is survived by his brother, David (Cheryl) Rowley of Cassadaga, NY.

Memorial contributions in Jim’s memory made be made to Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut Street, Dunkirk, NY 14048.

A celebration of Jim’s life will take place on Saturday from 2-4 pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, followed by a service at 4 pm.
